Open-sea beach on the west side of Isla Jambelí, about 35 minutes by boat from Puerto Bolívar, with restaurants, lodging and lifeguard towers; it is El Oro's traditional beach resort. Erosion and spring-tide surges (aguajes) have taken much of the beach, especially in the northern sector, and red flags go up on big-swell days.
