Small, roughly 300 m calm-water beach beside the mangroves at the fishing commune of Bajo Alto (El Guabo), about 45 minutes from Machala; it is one of El Oro's busiest beaches, good for families with children and known for its seafood. At low tide you can walk about 50 minutes through the mangroves to La Puntilla beach.
